Hi, I’m sHAMEKA n. dIXON, MA, PLPC.

I am a Provisional Licensed Professional Counselor (PLPC) dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate emotional challenges, life transitions, and the complexities of everyday stress. My work is rooted in creating a therapeutic space that feels steady, respectful, and intentional.

I understand that many people seek therapy during seasons of uncertainty, fatigue, or internal conflict. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, meaning therapy is shaped by your experiences, goals, and pace. I focus on helping clients gain clarity, strengthen emotional awareness, and develop practical strategies that support long-term well-being.

I believe meaningful change occurs when individuals feel both supported and empowered. Rather than rushing the process, I prioritize building emotional safety, fostering self-understanding, and helping clients move forward in ways that feel sustainable and aligned with their values.
